Cognitive and affective processes

This direction of research focuses on how the digital environment changes our basic psychic processes such as memory, perception, attention, decision-making, learning, emotions, and language.

Why is it important ?

This helps us understand how our mind adapts to the online world, how emotions manifest themselves in digital communication, and how one could effectively use AI for learning.

Expected outcomes

Improvements in online testing, development of AI tools for learning support, understanding how emotions manifest themselves in digital space, and investigation of the effects of virtual reality on experiencing the world.
